    Flash? Bad artist, no cookie!

Where is the RSS feed? Where is the date ordering? Where is the “save” button for desktop use? Where are the high res versions?

Living in Winthrop baked your brain: use Flickr!

Flickr psh. Do you upload to flickr with your AOL account? That’s pretty kickass Ryan, esp for first pass. Gotta get the pre-fetching of the next image going, then xfade between them, or at least when you click on the next image, run the ‘loading’ screen on the old image until the new one is in, then xfade. I like the right/half left/half linking to prev/next. I need a way to download your image, since it’s hidden in flash.

Damn you, you made my photo gallery look like programmer art. Now I gotta add crossfading. Bah.

Pictures look great, Wiggles. This gallery looks pretty slick too. Still a few pluses with simpleviewer that address some of Dave and Aaron’s requests; prefetch galore (whole gallery in fact), right click to open the image in a new window (then you can save it), dog ears the viewed thumbnails, and the arrow key navigation is sort of cool too. I’m tired of looking for image galleries. They all suck in one way or another. I may stick with simpleviewer and figure out how to have seperate constraints on x an y without messing with alignment. Could probably even add an rss feed for when a new gallery gets added. Site is in severe need of an update, but here’s what simpleviewer looks like…
