Caught this little wonder running accross the floor in my BEDROOM… It’s a Hobo spider… Yeah they are not good. The bites cause necrosis, just like a brown recluse bite.
And yeah… that a goddamn QUARTER next to it… NOW I WILL NEVER SLEEP WELL AGAIN.
That’s it! Im moving.

San Fran

I drove down to San Fran this weekend to see some friends.. It was awesome.
Marke and I spent 4 days playing around with the 90mm Tilt/Shift lens I rented. Hopefully some cool photos came out of it. It was awesome.
We met Rich at Pixar for lunch and a quick tour. It was awesome.
Ate sushi with Steve, talked shop, caught up. It was awesome.
The whole thing just made me miss all the people I worked with at Oddworld. They are all so talented and fun to hang out with. For some reason that group just really melded like no other I have worked with.

The greatest thing someone can do in their lifetime is to nurture new life. I don’t mean that people should go out and have a million kids, because over indulgence in reproducing your own DNA can actually be a drain on the system… I think. I mean people should nurture life of all kinds. Plant a flower, save a kitten from the pound, let the spider in your room lay its eggs. Give things a chance to reproduce. The system works best when it has as many chances to try new things as possible. Since I am not that interested in having children of my own, my greatest contribution will probably be when I die. Who knows how many lifeforms will benefit from the material that I will leave in the dirt. But knowing the simple fact that my eventual death will help the system try out new configurations of life, gives me some piece of mind. Who knows, maybe it could even be the genesis of some new wonderful species.
** EDIT tho now that I think about it, the greatest thing people are doing for life on this planet is eating and pooping… Just the simple act of recycling the biomass into nutient rich waste contibutes greatly to the system… And I suppose thats the beauty of the system. Just the act of trying to survive makes the whole thing work. So next time you clog a toilet don’t be embarresed, you just made a large contribution to life… 
So next time somebody asks me what the meaning of life is, I will smile and say: The meaning of life is… Shit.
Socks

To have a clear mind you have to start with clean socks…
Ok acutally I have no idea about that. But every once in awhile I like to just get rid of all my dingy, holey, missmatched white socks and then go out and buy three packs of new identical ones… This way I know nomatter which socks I grab in the morning I know that they will make a pair. Ahhhh sweet bliss.

Tv’s 120Hz

So my tv is one of the new batch that has a 120HZ mode… Which to be honest is freakin stupid. I call it the soap opera filter because it makes even the most beautifully shot movie look like it’s a crummy daytime tv show. 120Hz not a good thing. I finally had to dig deep into the menus and turn the damn feature off because its soo terrible. Why is this a good idea?

They are putting the family dog down in a few minutes. The worst part is that you can’t talk to him and make him feel better. He has no idea whats about to happen.
It was not an easy decision. But he can’t even hold down water anymore. He just throws it up.
I feel like shit.
